Lost & Found

LOST: Flag with pole. Silver Spring area (Colesville Rd and Dale Drive) on Sunday, 18 August 96. Dimensions approx. 3' x 5'. Property of Baltimore/Annapolis H3. $50.00 reward. Call 410-290-9727 anytime before 9:00pm or e-mail sknight@clark.net.

Help Wanted

The good news is the Rec Department agreed to keep the day camp at Chevy Chase Community Center going until the schools are open. The bad news is that they forgot to hire any staff. Camp Director Margaret Fleming is trying to run a camp for 50-some kids with only one other staffer. Volunteers (or people hired to work in the schools that are not open) are need to help teach classes in art, sports, cooking, and even academic subjects. Some administrative help would be great because Maggie is busy being a counselor. She can be reached, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Center (282-2204).
